SUMMA HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL MONUMENTS OF GEORGIA
(scientific-reference-type encyclopedia multivolume edition)
Was edited by the Chief Editorial Board of Georgian Encyclopedia in 1990 and 2004.
The aim of this edition is to discover, scientifically study and make graphical and photo documentation of all the monuments of cultural inheritance on the territory of Georgia. It means to present all those cultural values and display them to the whole society which are or will be registered and protected by the State.
In 1990s the first volume was published (volume 5th, editorial board: V. Dolidze, S. Kintsurashvili (the head), U. Sidamonidze, G. Tskitishvili), which contains more than 1500 historical and cultural monuments from the territory of historical Shida Kartli (inner Kartli) (Gori, Kaspi, Mtskheta, Kareli, and Khashuri regions) with the corresponding descriptive materials (blue prints, photos etc.). In 2004 the second volume was edited. It is dedicated to the cultural monuments from the territory of the mountainous part of Eastern Georgia (Akhmeta, Dusheti, Tianeti and Kazbek regions).
For the 4th and 2nd volumes of Summa Historical and Cultural Monuments of Georgia the material was prepared and cooperation with editorial board was achieved by:

The following members of editorial board worked on the 4th and 2nd volumes: M. Dvalishvili, L. Motsonelidze, M. Papava, T. Rusishvili, K. svanidze, Z. Sturua, T. Chelidze, K. Bliadze, M. Papinashvili, Ts. Shanidze.
For the present time the third volume is being prepared, where more then 1500 historical and cultural monuments from Kakheti (Gurgaani, Dedoplistkaro, Telavi, Lagodekhi, Sagarejo, Signagi and Kvareli regions) will be described.
